Establishing Dignity

Building Brighter

Futures,

Together

Nor Relief Fund is a humanitarian aid charity rooted in London, driven by a mission to transform lives across the world.
Our Origin Story

How It All Began.

For over two decades, our founder built his career in the business world, finding success in logistics and international trade. Yet, despite professional achievements, there was a persistent pull toward something more meaningful. Having witnessed firsthand the stark disparities in the regions he travelled to for work—the resilience of communities in East Africa and the untapped potential of children in the Middle East—he knew he couldn't simply remain a bystander.

In 2004, a single visit to an informal settlement changed everything. Seeing the direct impact that even the smallest, most coordinated effort could have on a family’s survival, the idea for Noor Relief Fund was born. It wasn't about building a massive corporate machine; it was about building a bridge of trust between those who want to help and those who need it most. He left his corporate role not with a clear map, but with a promise to do this properly.

What We Stand For

Values That Guide Our Hands

Every decision we make is filtered through our core humanist principles.

Integrity

Your trust is sacred. We are transparent about how we allocate funds, and you will always know where your money goes.

Commitment

Meaningful change does not happen overnight.
We stay with communities for years, not weeks.

Trust is Our Primary Currency

We are honest about our costs. A small portion of donations goes towards administration, staff, and generating further income. We do not claim a 100% donation policy because honesty matters more than a marketing headline. For every £1 we receive, around 11p goes towards raising further funds, effectively multiplying your donation.

We keep you informed. Every donor receives project reports. Orphan sponsors receive personal updates with photographs every 6 to 12 months.

We are registered and regulated. NRF is registered with the Charity Commission in England and Wales and the Fundraising Regulator.

Financial Allocation (2025)

  • Direct Aid Delivery 80%
  • Sustainable Development 11%
  • Operational Administration 9%

Where We Work

Our programmes reach communities across four regions where the need is greatest. Every region receives the full scope of our services, from orphan sponsorship and clean water to food, housing, education, medical aid, and economic empowerment.

Home to some of our longest-standing relationships, where we have supported families for over two decades.

Where we are delivering relief and rebuilding lives in communities facing ongoing hardship.

Where we stand alongside families enduring one of the world's most severe humanitarian crises.

Across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, where we are building sustainable futures for communities in need.

Every Act of Generosity Creates
a Ripple

You are not just making a donation. You are investing in a child’s education, a family’s home, a community’s water supply. You are partnering with people ready to transform their own futures. Will you be that someone?
